Ruuh Yog Class Policies & Disclaimer
Last updated: 5 September 2026
These policies apply to private yoga sessions at students' homes, private online sessions and live online group classes. By booking and participating in a Ruuh Yog session, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms.
Class Format & Duration
Ruuh Yog sessions are live and guided. Each class ordinarily lasts 60 minutes unless a different arrangement has been agreed in advance.
Private sessions are adapted according to the student's present capacity, experience and progression. Group sessions follow a planned class structure and cannot always be individually customised to the same extent.
Fees & Payment
Current fees, packages and payment instructions are confirmed privately through WhatsApp or email before classes begin.
Ruuh Yog does not collect or process payments through this website.
Payment is arranged directly after the class format, frequency, availability and start date have been agreed. Fees once paid are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
A private offline or online session should be cancelled between 12 and 24 hours before the scheduled class. Wherever possible, please provide 24 hours' notice.
The session may then be rescheduled for another mutually suitable day and time, subject to availability. A cancellation made less than 12 hours before the scheduled time, or failure to attend without notice, may result in the session being treated as used.
If Ruuh Yog needs to cancel a confirmed session, an alternative day and time will be arranged. Group-class fees generally cannot be carried forward or adjusted when an individual participant misses a scheduled class.
Late Arrival
Sessions will normally finish at the originally scheduled time even if the student joins or is ready late, so that subsequent appointments are not affected.
Yoga instruction is not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment, physiotherapy, clinical nutrition advice or mental-health care.
Before participating, students should disclose any information that may affect safe practice, including:
-
injury, persistent pain or recent surgery
-
a chronic or acute medical condition
-
pregnancy or recent childbirth
-
dizziness, balance concerns or restricted movement
-
medication, ongoing treatment or medical advice limiting physical activity
Where appropriate, students should consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning or continuing classes. The student remains responsible for deciding whether participation is appropriate and for following professional medical advice.
Students should also inform the teacher before a class if there has been any material change in their health, medication, pregnancy, injury, pain or physical limitation since their earlier disclosure.
Health & Medical Responsibility
Students should work within a comfortable range and inform the teacher immediately if they experience pain, dizziness, breathlessness, numbness or unusual discomfort. A posture, breathing practice or other technique should never be forced. The teacher may modify, pause or discontinue a practice where appropriate. No particular physical, therapeutic or health outcome can be guaranteed.
During The Session
Private Home Sessions
The student is responsible for providing a reasonably clean, safe and obstruction-free practice area. Any relevant building access, parking, entry or location information should be communicated in advance.
Home sessions are currently available from Goregaon East to Malad West. Other locations in Mumbai’s western suburbs, including areas beyond Andheri, may be discussed on a case-by-case basis depending on the exact location, travel time and availability.
Online Sessions
Students joining online should ensure that:
-
their device and internet connection are functioning
-
the camera provides a reasonably clear view of the practice area
-
there is sufficient space to move safely
-
the floor is stable and free from obstacles
-
suitable props are available where requested
The teacher's ability to observe and correct movement online is naturally more limited than during an in-person session. Ruuh Yog is not responsible for interruptions caused by the student's internet connection, device, electricity supply or third-party video platform.
As the teacher is not physically present in the student’s space, the student is responsible for ensuring that the practice area, floor and equipment are safe; following instructions carefully; practising within their present capacity; and stopping if they experience pain, dizziness, breathlessness or unusual discomfort. Ruuh Yog and the teacher shall not be liable for any injury, accident or health issue resulting from an unsafe practice area, unsuitable equipment, undisclosed health information, failure to follow guidance or continuing to practise despite discomfort.
Sessions may not be recorded, photographed, copied or redistributed without prior permission.
Online conduct: Students are expected to maintain respectful and appropriate conduct during online sessions and to avoid behaviour that disrupts the teacher or other participants. Abusive, discriminatory, harassing, unsafe or otherwise inappropriate behaviour will not be accepted. Ruuh Yog may pause or end a student’s participation where their conduct affects the safety, privacy or comfort of others.
Educational Information & Disclaimer
Information provided on this website, through social media or in general Ruuh Yog content is for educational and informational purposes. It should not be treated as personalised medical advice or as a replacement for consultation with an appropriately qualified professional.
Participation in physical practice carries an inherent possibility of strain, discomfort or injury. While reasonable care and appropriate guidance will be provided, each student remains responsible for practising within their capacity, communicating relevant concerns and stopping when something does not feel right.
Changes To Classes Or Policies
Class formats, timings, fees, availability and policies may occasionally change. Any material change affecting an existing booking or package will be communicated directly.
